Jacobi, Doreen E.
Passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2017 at Innisfree House at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of the late Walter (2001). Loving mother of Carol Jacobi (Terrasena Kepic) Donna Sargent (Brian). Proud Grandma of Brent (Bojana) and "Mrs. D" to Sara, Deanna and John. Dear sister of Reta Kneisel (late Wilfred), Beatrice Clemmer (late Bob Schmidt), Glen Schmidt, Wray Schmidt (Virginia), Nyle Schmidt (Hazel), Cleo Schmidt (Louise), Dorothy Jutzi (Gord Goodall), Audrey Schumm (Lamar) and the late Harley Schmidt (in infancy), Floyd Schmidt, Ralph Schmidt, Ward Schmidt, and Ina Schmidt (in childhood). Also predeceased by brother-in-law Earl Jacobi (Doreen O. Jacobi). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, close friends and their families.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Doreen's Life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Private interment at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, St. Agatha, at a later date.
Thanks to the loving support of family and friends and care provided by staff and volunteers at Innisfree House.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps, charity of your choice or in lieu of a financial donation please consider giving blood to Canadian Blood Services it would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
