Helm, Mary Catherine (nee Young)
born November 16, 1931 in Kincardine, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Kitchener. Beloved wife of John for 50 years. Loving mother of Patty (Kevin) McColl. Proud grandmother of Brodie, Mitchell and Justin. Daughter of the late Agnes and MacLean Young. Survived by sisters Helen of Sarnia, Eleanor of Hamilton and Agnes of Kitchener, and by her brother Gordon of Thorndale. Predeceased by brothers Jim, John, Donald and Edward. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was a longtime active member of Calvary Memorial United Church. Mary's family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
