Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Parkwood Mennonite Home in her 103rd year. Dorothy was born November 25, 1915 on Bell Island, Newfoundland. Beloved wife of the late Frank (1997). Loving mother of Ken (Juliette), Shirley, Linda (Art), Hilda (Laval) and Frank (Judy). Predeceased by daughter-in-law Molly and sons-in-law Gary, Jerry and Leslie. Proud grandmother of Diane (Dave), Bradley (Sue), Dorothy (George), Jason, Bev, Lori (Roger), Cory (Jasmin), Shawn (Chantal), Chris (Becky), 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late William and Minnie Bickford. Predeceased by sisters Martha, Frances and brothers Edward, James, Clarence, Tom and William

We are so blessed to have had the most loving mother in the world! Our hearts are broken but full of the love she bestowed on each and everyone of her children.

Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
