The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virginia "Ginny" Ann Jans (Leon) can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Hi you all, I am Celia, Ginny,s next oldest sister and I live in. NZ these past 40 years. I have missed my dear sister so much, but those are the decisions we make, and we try to keep in touch. Ginny has been the best sister anyone could have ever had. Ginny it hurts so much to to have to say goodbye, but you and I have to share in the joy we both have in knowing our own loving Lord God and that Ginny will now be there with Him, waiting to greet us each when we arrive in paradise. You are dearly loved my dear sister and I anticipate our next reunion. With so much love Celia

Condolence: There are no words to say how sorry I was to hear of Ginny's passing. If living depended on love, she would have been with us for a long time. Graeme had so much love for her - has did her boys, her family and so very many friends.

Condolence From: Rev. Paul S. Voisin CR
Condolence: Dear Graeme, Gord and Mary Joe, and Chris,
It was with sadness that I heard the news of the passing of dear Ginny. She was a fighter, and fought courageously to live and share life with you, and all of us. I first remember meeting the Jans family at St. Francis Parish, and then getting to know Ginny so much better with the Staff of St. Mark School. We all created many happy memories together at Church, School, in social occasions, and in your home. Her bright smile and encouraging word touched all of us, and her students. Her faith and her participation in the life of her Parish Community is a witness to all of us of devotion and commitment. May God bless you all, and may the peace of knowing that Ginny shares in the risen life of Jesus Christ turn into joy. I will keep you all in my prayers and Masses. Eternal life grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual life shine upon her.
