i was saddened to hear of Tom's passing. i worked as a renal nurse with him for over 30 years. He was fully dedicated to the patients, program, and staff. I remember him taking pictures of our humble unit on Green st. to push for a new unit in the main hospital. He would sometimes bring his 4 young girls into the hospital on a saturday and they would patiently wait while he did his patient rounds.In the early years,he and Levy would host staff parties at his home.He was always so welcoming,fun and funny.Often he would come into the unit addressing "girls,girls,girls" and his famous line "press on". I will miss him.
