Peacefully after a valiant fight, Leonard passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Madawaska Valley Hospice at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Gutoskie) of 57 years. Loving father of the late Dean (1973), Terry, Lynn Kleser (Chris), Glen (Tammy), Trevor (Peter). Cherished grandpa to Aaron, Amanda, Joshua, Nicholas, Brandon and Tristan. Leonard was the last sibling of ten children.

Leonard was a long time retired employee of B.F. Goodrich Tires and had been a Eucharistic Minister at St. Aloysius Parish for 35 years. He loved hunting, fishing, dancing and playing cards.

Leonard's family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September, 19, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (519-749-8467). Prayers will be offered on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:20 a.m. at the funeral home, then procession will be made to St. Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener, for the celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 pm (Noon). Interment at Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at the parish hall.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Madawaska Valley Hospice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
