Klem, Douglas:
The family of Douglas Gordon Klem announces his passing on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Trinity Village Care Centre at the age of 83.
Survived by his brothers Robert of California, Ray (Joyce) of Kitchener, his sister Susan (Larry Reinhardt) of Waterloo and brother-in-law Lloyd Hagen of New Hamburg.
Predeceased by his parents Carl and Mabel (nee: Glady) Klem, sister Marjorie Hagen and sister-in-law Jewel.
Doug retired from Lear-Ziegler in 1996. He was a former member of Westmount, Rockway and Conestogo golf clubs. With a "career" record of 6 holes-in-one, Doug loved to golf.
Cremation has taken place.
Final T-off for Douglas will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
