February 2, 1928 - February 18, 2018
Passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at Innisfree House in Kitchener on Sunday, February 18, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born Luise Henrich in Schollbrunn, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1950 to marry and start her family.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Spreitzer (1993).
Cherished mom of Fred and Theresa Spreitzer of Kitchener and Gloria and Bart Klettke of Lewiston, NY.
Devoted Grandma of Rob and Caley Spreitzer, Julie and Mike MacLeod, Erin Klettke and Cameron Klettke.
Dear Oma of Sophie MacLeod.
Predeceased by her parents Heinrich and Luise Henrich, brother Fritz Henrich, niece Martina Schulz and sister Gisela Ihrig, all of Schollbrunn, Germany. Liesel will be fondly remembered by her family in Germany: sister-in-law Gertrud Henrich and nieces and nephews Angelika Ihrig, Ralf and Evi Ihrig, Kurt and Hildegard Henrich, Elke and Jürgen Braun, Willi Schulz and their families.

Luise's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
Reception to follow.
Interment at Woodland Cemetery following the reception.
