Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Innisfree House at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of the late Jacob (1992). Loving mother of Margaret Magrini (Leonard), the late Elizabeth Grudzien (2009) (Frank) and Anna Kiernan (James) all from New Jersey. Cherished Grandma of the late Denise Magrini (1980), Jimmy Kiernan, April Kiernan, Frankie Grudzien (Jaimee) and Michelle Ditullil (Mike). Great-Grandma of Cody, McKenna, Myla and Mia. Dear sister of Maria in Romania.
Katie lived a life of fulfillment. She loved gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting and knitting.
Katharina's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Private cremation has taken place.
