Surrounded by family our beloved Stella Ferrero (LeDrew) passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 93. Stella was predeceased by husband Serge, brothers Jack and Hayward LeDrew and daughter Kathleen McCombs. She is survived by sister Lenore (Gord) Hipel, brother Robert (Verlie) LeDrew, son Steve (Suzanne) McCombs, grandchildren Christopher Kauth (Susan), Jennifer (Allan) Vermeersch, Josh (Michelle) McCombs and great-grandchildren Katy (Thomas) Kauth, Daniel Kauth and Carter Vermeersch, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Chartwell Meadowbrook Retirement Community, also all her friends in this residence for their caring and support. To the paramedics, nurses and doctor in the emergency department, the nurses on the 6th floor plus Drs. Falk and Zymanthus in Health Sciences North Hospital the family extends our sincere thank you for their compassion and support. Stella/Mom/Granny/Grandma will be missed.
Cremation with interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
Stella's family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at the Williamsburg Dedication Centre, 1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd., Kitchener, Ontario N2R 1P6.
