Hofstetter, Gerald "Chick"
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Spencer House in Orillia at the age of 89.
Beloved husband to Catherine "Kay" (nee Nickel) Hofstetter for 40 years. Loving father of Murray Hofstetter and his wife Wendy of Orillia.
Cherished grandfather of Kyle (Melissa), Jacob and Benjamin and great-grandfather of Hailee and Haiden.
Predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers and his sister. Uncle Chick will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Chick's family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or Calvary United Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
