The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Patricia "Pat" Proud can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I hold fond memories of both Pat and Arnold and am grateful for their support and friendship. Pat and I shared a love of orchids and we would share growing tips and excitement about new acquisitions. Oz and I offer our condolences. May God bless and comfort you.

Condolence: I always find comfort when someone special passes by remembering events over the years. As a child I recall our family visiting aunt pat and uncle arnold in Rydal Bank and me sleeping in a pew in their church..definitely a one of! As a toronto public nurse I remember her telling Grandma Proud on the farm about some of the poor school children having a breakfast of pop and chips. (THAT didnt seem so bad to me!) Aunt pat was crafty and creative. Brent and susans birth announcements came on papers folded like the old fashioned cloth diapers complete with tiny safety pins. NEAT! I accompanied the family to babysit on their moving day to Teeswater. In our young days, christmas presents were mailed..still have a large Tupperware blue comb..that plastic lasts forever! Always enjoyed aunt pats christmas letter with family updates. Was impressed they had those mystery bus trips. She was PROUD of you all! Ill especially think of her this year on our shared birthdate!
