Obituary for Gene Arthur Langill
Langill, Gene
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 59. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte A. Langill (nee Williamson). Loving father of Adrian and Jennifer Langill. Proud "Papa" of Emily, Brody, Blake, Kailee and Ryker. Well loved son of Keith and Fay Langill. Dear brother of Doug Langill, Heather Williams (Ian), and Colleen Millar. Sadly missed by his faithful companion Maggie. Gene was employed with B.F. Goodrich and retired after 30 years of service. He loved music and played trumpet with Dutch Boy Drum Corps. Special thanks to the staff in the ICU at Grand River Hospital for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
