Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25th, 2014 at A.R. Goudie People Care at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Myrna Cloes (nee Bennett). Loved father of Neil (Jean), Cheryl (Paul), Mark (Leasa) and Paul. Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Beulah MacIntosh. Predeceased by his brother Lorne and sister Eunice.
Earl was the owner and operator of the Victoria Street Service Centre for about 30 years. He was President of the Flying Dutchmen and active in the drum and bugle corps movement in the 70's and 80's. Earl was active with the Dutchboy Cadets, the Kiwanis Kavaliers and the Ventures drum corps.
Earl's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The Memorial Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 3 pm followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). The family wish to thank the staff at A.R.
