Obituary for Frances Isobel Roberta Urquhart (Moore)

Frances Isobel Roberta Urquhart (Moore)
Urquhart, Frances

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home at the age of 86.

Loving mother of Laura (Alan), John (Charlene), James, Scott, Cameron (Gwen), Timothy (Lucy) and Carolyn (Phillippe).
Dear grandmother of Rachel, Jennifer, Andrew, Erin, Sonya, Elizabeth, Zachary, Tanner, Rosalyn, Meghan, Ryan, Cezanne and Egon. Cherished great-grandmother of Kylee and Charles.

As well as being the world's greatest Mom, Fran was dearly loved by all who knew her. With a wonderful artistic talent, she started her art career illustrating children's fashions for Eaton's and Simpson's catalogues. Fran started her family of seven children in King City and later the family moved to what was then a little village of Doon. She was "Mom" to many and always welcomed people into her home. She combined being a devoted mother with various creative endeavours: teaching fashion illustration at Mohawk College, painting with the Central Ontario Art Association and illustrating city cartoon maps, to name a few. A member of Doon Presbyterian Church, she lived her faith with unconditional love and forgiveness.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Doon Presbyterian Church (35 Roos Street, Kitchener), at 11am. Reception to follow at the church. Cremation has taken place.
