Obituary for Louis Krissak

Krissak, Lou
Lou passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Freeport Health Centre at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Osier, 2008) and loving father of Michele Debau and her husband Octavian of Newmarket, Mark Krissak and his wife Cindy of Waterloo, and Tim Krissak and his wife Kathy of Baden. He was cherished grandfather of Evan (Emily) Stergiakis, Matthew Krissak (Jen Smith) and Steven Krissak (Sarah Mcrae). Lou is survived by his sister Leona Potje and will be missed by many family members, friends and neighbours.
He was predeceased by his parents, Annie and Iggy Krissak and brother-in-law Joseph Potje.
Lou will be remembered as an avid gardener and photographer. He worked for J.M. Schneiders for almost 40 years and enjoyed making people laugh.
Lou's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2 p.m.
Interment at Woodland Cemetery
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. (Cards will be available at the funeral home).
