Life Story for Jim Ainsworth

Ainsworth, Jim
Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 83.
Loving father of Bobbie and Doug Brown, Dave and Shirley Ainsworth, Vicky and Joe Moores and Cathy and Mark Henrich. He will be fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Alexandrina Ainsworth, his grandson, Jeffrey Ainsworth and granddaughter, Kimberley Moores and his sister Ethel Duench.
As a great entrepreneur, Jim operated several businesses in the Kitchener-Waterloo area known as Celery Seller, D.H. Hill Sign Ltd., Ainsworth Press, Ainsworth Real Estate, Jim’s Quick Print Shop, and the Cookie Jar. He was a past president of the K-W Sertoma Club and the Kiwanis Club of Kitchener-Waterloo.
Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 today ( Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Saturday from 9-9:45am. The funeral service for Jim will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10:00am. Cremation will follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sick Kids Foundation or the Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family.
