Miller, Elizabeth
Passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer, at the Grand River Hospital on Tuesday January 1, 2013 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Albert for 38 years. Loving mother of Chris and Wayne. Dear sister of Michael and his wife Karin Endresz and Katie and her husband Colin Kent. She will be remembered by her mother-in-law Anneliese Miller, Jim (Jutta) Miller, Kathy (Tony) Willing, Rita (Gerry) Balzer, Anneliese (Wayne) Greksa. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Cecilia Endresz, and her father-in-law William Miller. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Born in Hungary, and before coming to Canada in 1967, lived in Germany for ten years. She was very devoted to her family and loved her two boys, Wayne and Chris. She worked at Wilfred Laurier for 39 years, was an avid tennis player and belonged to the Waterloo Tennis Club. She loved gardening and her home was always a welcome place for all visitors.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday January 6, 2013 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday January 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
