Condolence: Pat and family I was really saddened when Gil Taves phoned me on Tuesday to tell me that Bill had died. It's only a few short weeks ago when we were enjoying a meal together at the annual Musicians' banquet at the Concordia club. Bill will be sadly missed in many circles. It was my sincere pleasure to know him. A fine gentleman and a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate his life and ponder so many happy memories. Tom Watson

Condolence From: Clarke and Cathie Tummon
Condolence: To Pat, John, Johanne, Pam, Dave, Jay, and Cindy and their families. We moved to the lake four years ago and as I spent a lot of time working outdoors I had the opportunity to have many visits with Bill as he would be out for his many daily walks with Sandy, or as he was out looking for Sandy on one of her many unannounced departures. These occasions were a testament to Bill's good nature and patience as he set about finding her and taking her home. We had many conversations ranging from his love of music to his latest state of the art hearing aids. I'm sure when working in the yard and here someone on the road I will look up expecting to see Bill and Sandy at the end of the drive way. Cathie and I will miss Bill and our thoughts are with all of you. Clarke and Cathie

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear about my dear friend Bill's passing. Bill and Anne lived across the street from us for a decade and we became great friends because we both played drums and loved beer. Bill use to say "I've never met a beer I didn't like." Bill was the kindest person I have ever met. Bill and I spent hundreds of hours together laughing and having so much fun. He loved rides in my 37 Buick. Bill and I loved doing Saturday afternoon jazz at the Lancaster house and he played drums right up till New Years Eve. He was a long standing respected local musician. He just loved playing the drums. My fond memories of Bill will be with me forever. He definitely left his mark as a very caring and thoughtful person. My most sincerest sympathies to his wife Pat and family.

Condolence From: Tom & Tammy Prewer
Condolence: Our hearts go out to the Tummon family and to Bill's friends and loved ones. We were very saddened to hear this news. Bill was a kind, gentle man that always took the time to find out how we were doing. Bill and I shared an interest in music, and I will miss our long chats about entertaining people and how much enjoyment we received from sharing our musical talents. He will be truly missed, and we were blessed to have known him. With love, Tammy & Tom Prewer and family.

Condolence: I am very sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was 'one of the good guys.' It was my honour to serve with Bill- for years- as an Out Of The Cold volunteer at Trinity church. Bill was the greeter at the front door- & the 1st person many guests met when they arrived at the church. He always had warm welcoming words & had conversations with many guests. Tonight- I saw guests in tears- when they heard the news. He cared about people. He was a kind & gentle man. He will be missed by many. My sincere sympathies- to Pat- his family & friends. I was blessed to have known him.
